Community Outreach Mentoring Services is a 501(c)3 organization, a community initiative to promote mentoring for communities in Memphis’s youth. We have led the mentoring movement to ensure youth and members have access to high-quality mentoring experiences through our network of mentoring programs.

Dorothy Morgan
CEO/ President
Dorothy Morgan is the President/CEO of COM SERV (Community Outreach Mentoring Services), a multi-generational mentoring organization that serves more than 1200 youth and families in Memphis, TN. With over a decade of experience in non-profit and academic administration, Dorothy has worked with diverse stakeholders, built new programs, and supported organizational growth.
A graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Dorothy is a passionate advocate for children and families. She has served for over 15 years as a mentor, educator, and program curriculum developer for youth. Fondly known as Ms. Morgan, she has a specific interest in speaking into the lives of children and families.
Dorothy’s strong leadership capacity and passion for outreach programs make her the perfect leader for COM SERV. Prior to her current role, she was the Program Director at CMOS (Community Mentoring Outreach Services) for four years and the Director of Academic Services at Precious Learning Academy.
Dorothy currently resides in Memphis, TN, with her two children. As a family, they love to cook and share the experience of cuisines and culinary traditions.
